Layered Zirconia

The Carter Dental Lab team skillfully fabricates layered zirconia through the combination of zirconia and esthetic porcelain. This all-ceramic option is an excellent and esthetic alternative to porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns due to its increased lifelike color. These restorations are created through the layering of porcelain over a solid zirconia substructure. PFZs offer the strength of PFM crowns but eliminate esthetic challenges like discoloration or dark lines along the gumline. We utilize CAD/CAM technology to ensure that these restorations provide accurate fit and lifelike esthetics.
