Sleep Therapy

Help your patient and their partners sleep through the night. Carter Dental Laboratory offers sleep therapy appliances to combat snoring and sleep apnea. These sleep appliances are easy to use for patients and increase the rate of treatment adherence.

TAP® 3

The TAP® 3 functions by positioning the lower jaw forward. This allows your patient’s airway to remain open during sleep. The TAP® 3 is also comfortable and has adequate room for a patient’s tongue. It is also adjustable via a key so your patient can customize it to best suit their mouth and needs.

Snore Guard

A snore guard is a patient-specific appliance that adheres to your patient’s top arch. It ramps behind the lower anteriors and inhibits the jaw from receding. A recessed jaw causes a patient’s soft palate to collapse during sleep, leading to snoring.
